KIDS CHECK-IN / CHILDREN’S NURSERY (INFANT-5 YEARS)

FOOD ALLERGY-SAFE

Crossings Nursery is committed to being a safe space for every child.  We have implemented measures to ensure our nursery is food allergy-safe, with carefully selected snacks, a trained staff, and a dedication to your child’s well-being.  Feel confident as your little ones explore and grow in our nurturing environment.

Children ages infant to 5 years can be dropped off at our Kid Zone, accessed by taking the left hallway to the back of the building.

Check-in is at 9:45 A.M. and pick-up is after the morning service, following a small window of time for coffee and fellowship.

Our check-in includes gathering information about your child, including name and medical and allergies information.  Each child is issued a numbered bracelet and parents are given a corresponding numbered ticket which we require for pick-up.

Our Kid Zone ministry to your child features a time of play, a snack, a Bible story, and an interactive activity.  We work through a biblically-based, age-appropriate curriculum.

Crossings Kids is a safe, joy-filled, and nurturing place where children experience the love of Jesus in real and meaningful ways! Every Sunday, our kids laugh, learn, worship, and grow as they discover what it means to follow Christ together.

In partnership with parents, we come alongside families to faithfully teach the gospel — helping every child know that they are deeply loved, wonderfully made, and called by God. From engaging Bible lessons and worship to hands-on activities and caring relationships, our goal is to help kids build a faith that lasts a lifetime.

At Crossings Kids, every child belongs, is seen, and is loved — just like Jesus sees and loves them!

Crossings Youth exists to nurture the spiritual growth of students and their families, equipping them to know and follow Jesus together!

We believe discipleship begins at home and flourishes in community—where faith is modeled, shared, and lived out daily.  Our heart is to see every family reflect the love of the Father, walk in the truth of His Word, and serve others with joy and compassion.

“These words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children…” — Deuteronomy 6:6–7

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” — 3 John 1:4

When We Meet

Middle & High School (Grades 6–12)
Sundays | 5:00–7:00 PM

Crossings Youth meets every Sunday evening for a time of food, fun, and faith. We share a meal together, dive into high-energy, interactive expository teaching through books of the Bible, and break into small groups to build community and grow deeper in God’s Word.

Whether you’ve been around church your whole life or you’re just starting to explore faith, you’ll find a place to belong here!

Discipleship

At Crossings, discipleship is deeply relational — it’s about walking with students as we walk with Christ. We believe that real growth happens through meaningful connection, honest conversation, and shared life together.

While we intentionally disciple our students through relationships, small groups, and teaching, we also believe the primary place of discipleship is the home. God has called parents to be the first and most influential disciple-makers in their children’s lives. Our role is to come alongside families, equipping and encouraging them to grow together in their love for Jesus and understanding of His Word.

Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road…” — Deuteronomy 6:7

Events

We plan a variety of events for our 6th-12th grade students throughout the year.  A few of our favorites events have been Water Wars, Nerf Commander, Back to School Bash, Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas parties, New Year parties, and THE TALK (Biblical sexuality seminar).  We also have 2 hugely successful fundraisers (Cake Auction and Envelopes) each year to assist with the cost of weekend retreats and summer camps.

Retreats

Both our middle school and high school ministries participate in two weekend retreats each year—one in the fall and one in the spring—at Bonclarken, our denominational conference center in East Flat Rock, NC.

Each group attends its own retreat designed for their specific age and stage, providing meaningful opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship.

Camps

Our middle and high school students attend separate week-long summer camps at Bonclarken: QUEST for middle school and HORIZON for high school.  These June camps combine fun and fellowship with worship, teaching, and spiritual growth.

Students aged 14+ also have the opportunity to join Salkehatchie, a mission week in Calhoun County, SC, focused on serving others through home repair projects.

Resources

The list below includes resources to encourage and equip parents with the intentional spiritual growth of their children/family.

Youth group

Our 6th-12th grade students meet Sunday evenings from 6-8 P.M. for “RADiCAL” youth group in the youth room. These evenings include a variety of plans, such as a family style dinner, Bible lessons, Dgroups (small discipleship groups), guest speakers, and activities/games.

Discipleship

Biblical discipleship is at the heart of what we do at Crossings – even for the youth. From spending time with students and building intentional 1:1 relationships, to writing testimonies and studying worship lyrics, our students are engaged in real life conversations from the heart.
